Hi there! I'm Connie Tran, and I'm so glad you're here!

I am a full-stack web developer specializing in frontend and backend technologies, including JavaScript, React, Node, Socket.io, Sass, Express, MongoDB, & MySQL.

I am also an Account Lead & Technical Project Manager at a digital marketing & advertising agency.

I have over 6 years of experience in the software development industry managing web development and mobile app projects that require business acumen & technical expertise.

During this time, I've delivered a $20 million portfolio of web & mobile projects, including: Coca-Cola, TIAA, KrispyKreme.com, CrackerBarrel.com, Southern Company.com, Oppenheimer.com, Developer.IDEMIA.com, and the Georgia-Pacific Scaling iOS & Android mobile app.

I received a certificate from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Full-Stack Web Development where I held an A+ average and was our class's selected graduation speaker.

I've developed a variety of different projects as seen on my GitHub as well as the homepage of this portfolio site. I've entered several hackathons and won the Wallifornia 2020 MusicTech Hackathon.

I've published several Medium articles as seen on my Medium profile. An application I developed called Playlistr has also been written about on Medium and featured along the Spotify app. My professional resume can be viewed here.

I help lead several developer communities, including founding our cohort's Slack workspace and volunteering for TechBridge, a program aimed at equipping unemployed and underemployed adults with technology skills.

I also help manage the Mintbean.io Developers’ Collective where I run events, challenges, & workshops on topics such as JavaScript30, CSS programming, contributing to open source, and developer relations/advocacy for a community of 3,000 developers.

Most recently, I joined The Collab Lab Summer 2021 cohort. I am a part of a team of developers who collaborate and develop using Javascript, React, and Firebase.

On occasion, I moonlight as a production assistant in film & other creative endeavors. I enjoy practicing aerial arts, including lyra, sling, trapeze, and silks. I also roller skate and enjoy practicing flow arts. I am also an all-around nerd :)

I love technical as well as creative pursuits. I want to create art and make the world a better place. I'd love to build something - together.
